THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME AND YOUR KNOWLEDGE.
I hope someone out there can understand what i am trying to ask I know this must be painful to read but i tried to be as informative as i could and only the iPad remote UCNET applied there. i sent you its screen shot but i also tried it without that being added to the External Devises in the preferences window.
I also attached a few screenshots one showing the External Devises where I've tried to add my guitar and send it from my Audiobox to the USB 2.0 on the mac it connected it but it still didn't work. no light moving in the input level bar on the bottom left and its not giving me any effects from it. ) I inserted Amplitube 3 in the F/X track and the Amplitube 3 screen comes up but i get no signal. right now i have track 1( audio track ) and 2 of track1 that is the F/X track. ) Ive played with a few settings on an audio track. I can hear my guitar but only the natural guitar sound. ) Right now, i have my guitar plugged into the AudioBox USB,Īnd AudioBox running into USB 2.0 on my Mac. Can you Please walk me threw setting up my guitar ( using the right settings so that i have the F/X coming threw the Guitar track correctly. I know I have missed up or left out something but I've tried everything twice except for the right way. It shows this in a yellow rectangle on the top right of the Amplitube 3 control screen to the right of the gear wheel that has no other options to choose from. now When i drag Amplitube 3 onto an F/X track it then shows that UCNETRemote is being used for Amplitube 3. I left the ( Use as Default Not checked ). In the Preferences under External Devises Ii have my remote for iPad and that says it was set up automatically using UCNETRemote.
Im having a big problem figuring out how to set up my guitar correctly so that i can make an Audio track and then drag my plug in Amplitube 3 onto that track or F/X track. *In the meantime, read the S1 manual, if you haven't had the opportunity to do so yet as you'll find much of the info you need in it and also look at some of the vast array of tutorial videos available (for free) on YouTube.
I've been tempted to try the 'free' cut-down version of Amplitube 3, so if I get the time (and inclination - I'm off to work now!) to do so later, I'll download it and see what hoops I have to jump through to get it working and get back to you with hopefully a more thorough answer. This is, of course, only an outline explanation and everyone's experience will be different depending on the hardware/software used - you can put your equipment spec's on your post (see some of the moderator's posts for a link to do this) which will help those, with vastly greater knowledge than mine, to assist. If it does not appear in the browser listing, you may have to point S1 to find it*.Īs far as recording the guitar into S1, you will need to plug your guitar into your A/D interface (which is presumably set up to use with S1) arm a track for recording, ensuring that the track input is set to receive from the interface*, and then hit record and play - voila! After you have recorded the guitar you can twiddle with the Aplitube 3 plugin to get the sound you're after! Then, if all is OK, the guitar signal will be routed through the Amplitube 3 plugin. It should then be available to you in the S1 browser as an effect, which you can drag onto the track onto which you are recording (or have already recorded) your guitar.
You should download the plugin and install as per the instructions. In advance thank you for taking your time to help me with this issue!!!Īs far as I'm aware Amplitube 3 is a 'plugin' i.e. I have SampleTank also and that works fine when i connect it to a track and use pads or keys. Like i said no signal light moving in the input bar on the Amplitude screen so its (Not) connecting somewhere.Ĭan anyone please help me to figure this out? if I can post some screenshots ill do that in this post if it allows me to. The Midi channel is set to (All) I can hear the guitar play but just the Bypass like, Clean sound comes threw ,(no effects) from amplitude 3. Under new instrument I have it (send)ing to Audio Box Ch1 it says in (send To) the (Received From) I've tried putting in (None) and Ive tried (Audio Box USB), To break it down I've taken all my devise out of the external devises part of preferences and just have the one in there now.
Hi, I have amplitibe 3 installed onto Studio one, I dragged it into the guitar track, I can see the Amplitube screen that pops up, I can arrange presets, everything is fine there but no signal is showing up when i play the guitar, the input level bar has No light signal showing its receiving the signal, Ive tried researching it in the manual but can't figure out what I'm not setting correctly.
